Maple Lee Martin January 15, 1958 – February 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Maple Lee Burton-Martin, 61 of Plain Dealing LA passed away peacefully at her home Sunday morning, February 10, 2019. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and a friend to many. She was born January 15, 1958 to the late Mr Lewis Burton and Mrs. Annie Lee Graham-Burton.

She was preceded in death by both parents and one son, James Martin, Jr, and one brother, Mr. Charles Little. She is survived by her husband, Mr. James Martin of Plain Dealing, LA and one son, Derreon Washington of Plain Dealing, LA. Two daughters, Alisha (Marcus) McKinney of Plain Dealing, LA and Chinkesha Taylor of Bossier City LA.

One sister, Mrs. Mary (James) Bohannon. Five brothers, Mr. Arthur Lee (Benita) Underwood of Bossier City LA, Mr. Elvin (Lillie) Burton of Homer LA, Mr. Carlos (Andrea) Sanders of Houston TX, Mr. David (Renae) Sanders of Kansas City, MO and Mr. Clyde Jones of Houston, TX. One sister-in-law, Mrs. Doris Little.

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday February 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home 305 Lincoln Street Plain Dealing, LA 71064 Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday February 19, 2019 at Greater New Zion Baptist Church, 421 Oak Ridge Drive, Benton LA where Minister Arthur Davis will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Interment will be immediately after the service at Caldwell Cemetery, Caldwell Cemetery Rd 4, Plain Dealing, LA 71064.
