Obituary for Constance “Connie” Harvey Harvey, Constance “Connie” of Saginaw, Michigan, died on July 28, 2018 near Higgins Lake, with her family by her side. Constance Brady was born on March 25, 1926 to the late H. Williams Brady and Katharine O’Keefe Brady. She was married to Thomas Chadwick Harvey for 53 years until his death in 2002.

Connie was a graduate of Kingswood School Cranbrook, Bradford Junior College, and Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduation, she held positions at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and Kingswood School of Cranbrook. She was active in many Saginaw projects and boards, including the Saginaw General Hospital, Saginaw Junior League, Saginaw Hall of Fame, Saginaw Art Museum, Saginaw Humane Society, the Saginaw Community Enrichment Commission, and the Lakeside Memorial Fund at Higgins Lake.

She loved the Lakeside Association at Higgins Lake, having spent 92 summers there and running the Lakeside shop with her cousin, daughters, and friends for over 35 years. In her spare time, Connie enjoyed music, art, gardening, reading, travel and her family and pets. She and her husband, Tom, spent summers at Lakeside Association and winters in Sarasota, Florida.

She is survived by three children: Katharine (Randall) Almirall, Sara (Keith) Newell, and Thomas (Jen) Harvey, Jr.; five grandchildren: Sara (Jaime) Randall Almirall Takikawa, Nathaniel (Joslyn) Almirall, Katharine Brady Newell, Keith Williams Newell, and Alexander Harvey Newell; two great-grandchildren: Lorenzo Almirall and Elizabeth Almirall; and a very dear family friend to all, Dean Worden. A family service will be conducted a later date. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd.
