Constance E. “Connie” Cameron, 75, of Rushville, passed away March 24, 2019 in Indianapolis. Connie was born August 26, 1943 in Rushville to the former Horatio, Jr. & Helen M. (Girton) Bennett. She was a 1961 graduate of Rushville High School.

Connie married George Cameron on February 28, 1964 and he survives. Connie managed the Sear’s Catalog Store in Rushville from 1980-1992 and eventually retired from the Rush County Clerk’s office. She was a member of the New Salem United Methodist Church, enjoyed card club and the Noble Township Home Ec Club.

In addition to her husband, George, of Rushville, she is survived by her son, CJ (Melissa) Cameron of Clayton and daughters, Kellie (Steven) Price of Avon and Cathy Gosser of Rushville, brothers, Perry A. (Jean) Bennett of Indianapolis and Jeff (Marcia) Bennett of Rushville, 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Moster Mortuary with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 10 AM until time of service on Thursday.
