Constance Louise “Connie” Oman, 78 of Springfield, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born on June 22, 1940, in Springfield. She was the daughter of the late Mary Lou (Addis) and Paul Fay and Howard and Jean Slack.

Connie enjoyed the outdoors camping, sitting in the sun and reading. She also loved family gatherings especially around the holidays, loved to cook and travel. Connie had an interest in Owls and how beautiful they were.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four children: Debbie (Jene) Gaver, Doug (Miste) Adams, Denise (Matt) Oman-Perkins, and Dawn (Dann) Clark; ten grandchildren: Jesse Gaver, Doug (Rashell) Adams, Kristen (David) Shore, Sarah (Wade) Bodey, Jayme Gaver, Brittany Perkins, Josh Perkins, Leeah Adams, Lorianna Clark and Kaylee Clark; nine great grandchildren, two sisters: Linda (Frank) Pazdzinski and Paula (Dennis) Jones; two brothers: Douglas (Kay) Slack, and Bob (Bonnie) Tredway; sister-in-law, Dixie Slack and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, George “Skip” Slack, and her sister, Ginger Neuhardt. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 27th from 5-7:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where a celebration of her life will be on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mark Hackworth officiating. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
