Mrs. Cora Bohannon Bussey, 92, Northside Dr., died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Davidson County to the late Early J. Bohannon and Ida Bertha Murray Bohannon on December 17, 1926. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and served on the Missionary Program Committee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Bussey; three sons: Artis Jackson, Gerald Jackson and Gary Bussey; a daughter, Linda Jackson Wakefield. ; two brothers, Edward Bohannon and Williams Bohannon and two sisters, Margaret L. Cherbum and Gwendolyn Bussey. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Frank (Rogernee) Bussey of Tracy, Calif.

; a sister, Sarah Leverett; a daughter-in-law, Danette Bussey of the home; 8 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Clarence Bussey of Lexington; a sister-in-law, Paula Bohannon and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00pm at First Assembly of God. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
