Mrs. Sarah Estella Hogan Hargrave Wise, 85, formerly of Curry St., died Monday, February 11, 2019 at Accordius Health at Lexington. She was born in Davidson County to Willie Ray Hargrave and Mary Millie Hogan on October 15, 1933. She retired from Henry Link Furniture and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, K.C. Wise; a daughter, Carolyn Johnson; three brothers: Frank Hogan, Robert L. Hogan and Kenny Hargrave and a sister, Blanche Hargrave. Sarah is survived by three sons: Franklin Hogan, Leon (Mary) Hogan and Willie Johnson; a daughter, Katherine Johnson; a brother, Leon (Ronda) Hargrave; two sisters, Barbara Hargrave and Gloria Hargrave; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday at New Jersey AME Zion Church at 2:30pm with family visitation at 2:00pm.
