Dale W. Weaver, age 74 of Biglerville, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Saturday, April 1, 1944 in Menallen Twp. , Adams Co. the son of the late Sanford ‘Abe’ and Virginia ‘Rae’ (Thomas) Weaver.

Dale graduated from Biglerville High School in 1963. He was employed by Mt. Valley Farms and Lumber Products for over 60 years.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Wenksville. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jayne R. (McCurley) Weaver. … Read More » He is also survived by one daughter, Tiffany R. Shue of Bedford, three sons, Teal D. and wife Marcy Weaver of Chula Vista, CA, Tristan D. Weaver of York Springs, Joshua M. Weaver of Biglerville, three grandchildren, three sisters, Joycelyn Taylor of Biglerville, Alice Shoffstall of Newville, Addie Hess of York Springs, three brothers, Thomas Weaver of Alabama, Peter Weaver of Biglerville and Benjamin Weaver of Bendersville.

He was preceded in death by a brother George S. ‘Abe’ Weaver and sister Helen Brown. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, July 9 at St. James Lutheran Church, 2017 Wenksville Road, Biglerville with Reverend B. Wesley Smith officiating.

A time of fellowship will follow the services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 449, Bendersville, PA 17306.
