Obituary for Brenda Cressler (Hamilton) Brenda L. Cressler, 54, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on October 28, 1963, in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Wayne A. and Pauline V. Adams Hamilton. Brenda was a 1982 graduate of Shippensburg High School and married Ray E. Cressler on October 25, 1986, in Shippensburg.

Brenda worked as a CNA for a total of thirty-six years, for several different nursing facilities, but most recently the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and SpiriTrust Lutheran. She really loved her job in nursing and was always concerned with and taking care of others. In her free time Brenda enjoyed riding her trike with her husband Ray.

She was a member of the GWRRA Chapter C, of Chambersburg, and enjoyed trips to Niagara Falls, Skyline Drive, and many trips to bike week in Ocean City, MD. Brenda also liked to go on cruises, having been to several in the Eastern Carribean. In addition to her husband of thirty-one years, Ray, she is survived by her son, Stephen E. Cressler of Shippensburg; four siblings, Raymond R. (Patricia) Adams, Wayne E. Hamilton, Linda K. Bechtel, and Lana L. Hamilton, all of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory A. Adams. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Viewing will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the GWRRA Chapter C c/o: Dan Campbell 803 Mountain View Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
