Obituary for Ralph DeWalt Ralph A. DeWalt, 82, of Orrstown, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born Sunday, February 16, 1936 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Ralph S. and Edith A. Gifford DeWalt. Ralph was a member of the Lurgan United Brethren Church, and attended the Ebenezer United Brethren Church in Greencastle.

He was the owner and operator of DeWalt Tree and Lawn Service, and later worked in the Maintenance Department at the Shippensburg University. Ralph was a member of the Path Valley Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean Elizabeth Kane DeWalt, whom he married August 6, 1955; two sons, Jeffrey Lynn DeWalt, Neelyton; and Steve Ray DeWalt, Orrstown; one daughter, Debra Kay (husband Jeffrey) McMullen, Shippensburg; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, with the Rev. David Grove, and Rev.

Richard E. Mose officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
