Obituary for Sarah Tosten (Bigler) Sarah Elizabeth Tosten, 76, of Shippensburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home. Born Thursday, February 5, 1942 in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and S. Catherine Burkholder Bigler. Sarah was a member of the Ridge Church of the Brethren in Shippensburg and their Women’s Fellowship.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clarence E. Tosten, Sr. whom she married February 21, 1960; two sons, Timothy E. (wife Cindy) Tosten, Gassaway, WV, and C. Edward (wife Deborah) Tosten, Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Shandi E. Santos, Zach E. Tosten, Kayla A. Hinkle, and Danyelle N. Tosten; five great grandchildren, Caleb, and Isaiah Tosten, Seeley, and Shay Santos, and Leighton Hinkle; and three sisters, Janet Doyle, Suvina Brenize, and Arliss Kunkleman. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ridge Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Earl F. Stovall, Rev.

Timothy E. Tosten, Rev. Matthew Tosten, and Rev. Leon Davis officiating.

Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. and one hour prior to the service on Monday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ridge Church of the Brethren, 1095 Ridge Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
