Harry W. Welshonse, age 73 of Cashtown, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home. He was born Friday, July 20, 1945 in Port Royal, the son of the late William and Ella Mae (Burns) Welshonse. Harry graduated from Tuscarora Valley High School in 1962.

He graduated from Thompson Institute in Harrisburg. He was formerly employed by and retired from Juniata Lumber in Mifflin. He had also worked for The Port Royal Times and Kint’s Hardware.

He is survived by one brother, Donald Welshonse of Mifflintown, two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his adopted son, David Welshonse, a brother, Jim Welshonse and a sister, Donna Welshonse.

Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. At Harry’s request, there will be no services.
