Obituary for Grace Dubbs (Lensbower) Grace Elizabeth Lensbower Dubbs, 84, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at Menno Haven, Chambersburg. Born Thursday, March 22, 1934 in St. Thomas, PA. , she was a daughter of the late Harry Edward and Bessie Viola Heckman Lensbower.

Grace was a 1952 graduate of St. Thomas High School. She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Shippensburg. She retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1971.

She was a member of the First Court Chapter # 470, Order of the Eastern Star, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Shrine # 36, The Ladies Auxiliary of West End Fire & Rescue, and Vigilant Hose Company, and the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, all in Shippensburg, the Shippensburg Coin Club, The St. Thomas Dietrich Brechbill Post # 612 since 1943, and also was a Den Mother with the Boy Scouts of America. Grace is survived by one son, William F. (wife Christine) Dubbs, Jr., Chambersburg; one step daughter, Linda C. Motley, Reading; six grandchildren, Kristin C. Sawyer, Darryl B. Motley, Jr., Jeremiah T. Motley, Joshua A. Motley, Alexis N. Dubbs, and Zachary T. Dubbs; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Frank L. (wife Ruth) Lensbower, one sister in-law, Vera Lensbower, all of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William F. Dubbs, Sr., who died June 5, 2006, and two brothers, Robert E. and Joseph R. Lensbower.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, with the Rev. George W. Heckard officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

A viewing will be held Monday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West End Fire & Rescue, 49 Lurgan Ave. , Shippensburg, PA 17257 or Vigilant Hose Company, 20 Walnut Bottom Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
