Dale Frederick Leddy Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018, following a 2 ½ month illness due to a stroke. Age 79 years. Dale was born June 27, 1939 in Saginaw, the son of the late Harriett (Price) and Michael Leddy and his step-father, Adolph Weideman.

He married Maxine H. Rohn, June 10, 1961. His wife of 57 years survives him. He founded Dale Leddy Electric in 1975 and was 50+ member of the I.B.E.W.

He was an active member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church where he served as President and as an Elder.

He coached youth baseball. Surviving besides his wife, Maxine, are three children and their spouses, Craig and Anne Leddy; Tammy and Ed Flattery; Todd and Rena Leddy; Randy Schulz who was like a son to him; four grandchildren, Tara DeLine and her husband, David; Blake Leddy; Kyle Flattery and Reegan Flattery; two great grandchildren, Liam and Vivian DeLine; two brothers and their wives, Mike and Sugar Leddy; Ed and Alice Leddy; his sisters-in-law and their husbands, Janet Leddy; June Leddy; Nancy and Paul Moran; Leona and Ralph Zeitler; many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents and step-father, Dale was predeceased by four brothers, one sister, Lawrence, John, Herb, and Tom Leddy; Elsie Cardinal; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alan Cardinal, Elvin and Ruth Rohn, Albert and Thelma Rohn, Shirley and Jim Neuenfeldt.

The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, 8765 Ederer Rd. Saginaw, MI; Pastor Joshua Becker will officiate with private burial in Owen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and then at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Christ Lutheran Church or the charity of their choice.
