Ledtke, Verna May Went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Wellspring Lutheran Services. She was 90 years old. Verna May Finkbeiner was born on July 27, 1928 in Bay Port, Michigan to the late Menno and Adella (Neumann) Finkbeiner.

Verna married Robert H. Ledtke on June 12, 1948; he preceded her in death on February 23, 2002. She worked alongside her husband in their home building business for many years. Verna was a lifelong and faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Above all, she loved and cherished her family. Surviving are three sons, Dr. Michael (Sherry) Ledtke of Saginaw, Dr. Steven (Kathryn) Ledtke of Fort Gratiot and Randall Ledtke of Saginaw; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet Wells; a brother, Ronald (Mabel) Finkbeiner; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Finkbeiner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Wedding and a brother, Roger Finkbeiner.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. James Krueger will officiate.

Private burial will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p. m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
