Willson, Mary Katherine Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at St. Francis Home after a lengthy illness. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late Lawrence and Alfreida (Gaertner) Jarabeck was born on October 25, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She married Darrell Willson February 27, 1960. He predeceased her on January 3, 2004. Mary was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School.

She spent her entire career in the banking industry, working at First State Bank and retiring from Chase Bank. She and her husband were longtime members of St. Agnes Parish in Freeland, Michigan and belonged to Holy Spirit Parish in her later years. Mary loved spending time in St. Helen during her sons’ formative years.

Surviving are four sons, Mark Willson, Newberry; Michael Willson, Midland; Robert Willson (Debra) Houghton Lake; and Daniel Willson (Lisa), South Lyon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother and six sisters, Lawrence (Shirley) Jarabeck, Jeanne Kade, Margaret Hagerl, Donna Beador, Sharon (Mike) Iler, Karen (Randy) Wurtzel and Alice (Patrick) Wurtzel; many nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Jacqueline Jarabeck. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Jarabeck, Sr., and one grandson, Robert Willson. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Merrill Fields and St. Francis Home for their loving and compassionate care.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Holy Spirit Parish, 1035 N. River Rd. in Saginaw, Michigan. Father Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial taking place at St. Andrew Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral liturgy. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Spirit Parish or St. Francis Home. www.
