Obituary for Danette R. “Danni” Whitehead Dateline: Alton Danette R. “Danni” Whitehead passed into eternal life on Saturday, September 22, at 5:32 pm with her loving family surrounding her. Danni was born February 2, 1963 and lived her entire life in Alton. She graduated from Alton High in 1982 and SIUE in 1986 with two degrees.

She was a super salesman and worked for many businesses in the Alton area. She leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Jeffrey (Wally) and a son Caleb, four sisters, Debby Walter, Donna (Randy) Hard, Denise Holden and Doreen (Randy) Schnarr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Esther McGhee, two brothers-in-law Ray Walter and Tim Holden and her grandparents Al and Reba Joyce.

Danni will be remembered for her wit and sense of humor. She had an incredible love for her nieces and nephews and created many memorable adventures for them. Per her wishes, Danni will be cremated.

There will be no funeral services. A celebration of her life will be held at Hearts Harvest Church, Bethalto, on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 am. One final time for you, Danni – “Fridays and Sunday School, Ok, mom?
