Seifert, 91, of Phillipsburg passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in the Lopatcong Center. Born February 9, 1927 in Phillipsburg he was the son of the late William and Delia (Tress) Seifert. Danny was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and served in the US Navy during World War II from 1942-1945.

He served on the USS Paracutin. He was a foreman with the former Victor Balata Belting Company in Wilson Borough. His wife, Sara, died in 1989.

His family was everything to him. He was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was a member of American Legion Post #446 in Alpha.

He is survived by a son Richard and wife, Carol, of Phillipsburg; three daughters Eileen DePaul and husband, Russ, of Easton, Kathleen Kucheruck and husband, Thomas, of Forks Township and Colleen Seifert of Lopatcong Township; ten grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a brother Cary. Memorial funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12 p.m. (Noon) in the funeral home.

A calling hour will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to time of services in the funeral home. The family requests memorials to your local Veterans Administration.
