McFarland, 59, of Phillipsburg passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at home. Born March 3, 1960 in Elizabeth, NJ he was a son of Glenn and Mary (Bernhard) McFarland of Blue Ridge, GA. He and his wife, the former Dorothy Albertson, were married May 20, 2011.

Glenn was a construction manager with ConnectOne in Connecticut. He was an avid NY Rangers and NY Yankees fan, as well as a fan of Nascar and Sprint Car Racing. He loved music, having played the drums, and his Harley Davidson.

He also enjoyed swimming and being in the pool. Glenn was a World War II enthusiast. He really enjoyed high school football and rooted for Phillipsburg High School.

He was a parishioner of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg and a volunteer fireman with Delaware Park Chemical Engine Co. #1. In addition to his loving wife, Dorothy, he is survived by his daughter Randi Phillips of Phillipsburg and step-daughter Kayla Andiloro (Marcello) of Charlotte, NC, five sisters Patty Ramos (Larry) of Murphy, NC, Colleen Smela (Douglas) of Jim Thorpe, PA, Maggie Evans (Zulma) of Blue Ridge, GA, Tara in NY and Arwen of Blue Ridge, GA; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, 430 S. Main Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
