Jeanette Orth, 71, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s in Bethlehem, PA with her loving family by her side. Jeanette was born in Easton, PA on January 3, 1948 to the late Moritz John and Evelyn Rounsaville Geiger. Jeanette was a special needs paraprofessional with the Phillipsburg School District at Green Street School.

She was a graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1965. Jeanette enjoyed shopping, trips to Lancaster with her daughters and going to the Casino. Most importantly, Jeanette loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert A. Orth; daughters, Kim Williams and her husband, Rick of Southington, CT and Karen Amato and her husband, Gerald of Palmer Township, PA; son, Robert J. Orth and his wife, Sharon of Stewartsville, NJ; grandchildren, Ricky and Rachel Williams, Alexis and Nicolette Amato, and Bobby and Madeline Orth; and a brother, William Geiger. Services for Jeanette will be private, at her family’s convenience. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made in Jeanette’s name to Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s; 2455 Black River Road; Bethlehem, PA 18015.
