Brian J. George, 41, of Harmony Township, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 28, 2019 surrounded by his family. Brian was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 25, 1977 to Jo Ann (Stedenfeld) George and Kevin A. George. Brian was the owner of 5 Star Water Treatment, an operator for Lehigh County Water Authority and a co-owner of JEB Distribution.

He received his BA from Stockton College in marketing. Brian was a member of YMIA Club in Phillipsburg, an active coach for the HTAA and avid sports fan. Baseball was Brian’s passion and loved coaching his daughter in softball.

He loved camping and his annual trip to Dover, DE with his brother and friends to watch the NASCAR race. He loved to travel with his family and always looked forward to the annual trip to Outer Banks, NC. He lived life to the fullest and could always be found with a smile and celebratory attitude.

He loved his children and his family. Brian is survived by his wife of 9 years, Shannon Smith George; Daughter Alexis and Step-son Scott Eger; mother Jo Ann George; brother David A George and sister in Law Lisa and son Gabe Apgar; his Uncle Dennis Stedenfeld; Aunt & Uncle Kim and Jim Lomerson and their children, Jen and her husband Renan and Ryan. A Memorial Service for Brian will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 6pmat the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.

A Memorial Visitation of Family and Friends will be held from 2pm until 6pm at the funeral home.
