Daniel’s Obituary Daniel L. Keeler, 80, of Telford, PA; formerly of West Chester, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Lutheran Community at Telford. He was the loving husband of Priscilla (Oberholser) Keeler for 59 years. Dan was born in Perkasie, Pennsylvania to the late Milton Keeler and the late Lydia (Leatherman) Keeler.

He graduated from Pennridge High School in Perkasie, PA. Dan volunteered with the Mennonite Voluntary Service at Boys Village in Wooster, OH where he and Priscilla met. From 1960-1977, he worked as a sign painter for the former Lamp’s Sign Studio in Malvern, PA.

From 1977-2012, he worked as a sign painter and later became the owner/operator for the former Keeler Signs in the Perkasie/Tylersport areas. Dan was an active member of Spring Mount Mennonite Church where he served as an elder, as a Sunday school teacher, and church custodian. He was an avid bird watcher and a talented artist.

Dan enjoyed painting, reading books including mystery and religious, and watching basketball. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Dan was a devoted husband and caregiver to his wife.

He was an independent, hardworking, conscientious, dependable man. Dan is survived by his two daughters, Janice C. King & husband, Barry of Rockingham, VA, Kathleen R. Fretz & husband, William of Souderton/Harleysville, PA; his grandson, Christopher Fretz of San Jose, CA; his granddaughter, Heather Fretz of Bel Air, MD; his two brothers, Walter Keeler & wife, Mary of Silverdale, PA, Paul Keeler & wife, Rachel of Perkiomenville, PA; and his sister, Mary Moyer & husband, Timothy of Bethlehem, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Harold, John, & Merrill Keeler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Lutheran Community Chapel, 235 N. Washington St., Telford, Pennsylvania 18969. A future inurnment will take place at Salford Mennonite Cemetery.
