Obituary for David A. Koffler David Alvin Koffler, 70, passed away January 5, 2019. A native of Woodburn, Oregon, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Helena M. Faulhaber Koffler; a retired employee of Christopher Trucks and a believer in Jesus Christ. Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine Crump Koffler, of the home; three sons, David A. Koffler, Jr. (Ruby Ann) of Carolina Shores, North Carolina, Michael Wayne Simpson (Mary) of Troutman, North Carolina and Derald Black (Amanda) of Spartanburg; one daughter, Tracy Miles (Aaron) of Jefferson, South Carolina; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and mother-in-law, Betty Clark.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Kristina Marie Koffler; one brother, Jerry Koffler and one sister, Cathy Maldanado. Families and friends will meet to celebrate his life at later date to be announced. The family will be at the home.

David was very instrumental in the expansion of the Rettew House. He was a supporter of the Rettew House because they foster handicap children. Memorials may be made to The Rettew House, c/o of William Rettew, 3616 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, SC 29650.
