David’s Obituary David De Leon Jr. age 72, passed away May 20, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born April 25, 1947 in San Benito, TX to David De Leon Sr and Guadalupe Guerrero De Leon. He was a hard working man and loved doing his job.

He was a skillful carpenter and worked many job sites across the Rio Grande Valley. He also enjoyed painting and drawing and had a passion for music. He loved to play the drums and guitar.

David loved life and lived a cheerful happy life with his family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Yolanda Ruiz De Leon, children, Peter (Katherine) De Leon, Richard (Georganna) De Leon, Virgil (Veronica) De Leon and Angela De Leon; Grandchildren, Dylan, Khloe, Malayla, Maylani, Desmond, Gael, Trinity, Paul, Mason and Jayden; his siblings, Diana Solis, Johnny De Leon and Joe De Leon; nephews and nieces, Cindy, Johnny Jr., David, Eddie, Arnold, Belinda, Michael and Casey. Visitation will be held on Friday May 24, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Service of Prayer to begin at 7:00 pm in the evening with Rev.

Robert Rodriguez of Primera Iglesia Bautista officiating. As per David’s wishes his body will be cremated and funeral services will conclude Friday night at the Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home.
