Rev. David Lee Canen passed away on Friday, June 1st, 2018. Rev.

Canen was born in Bremen, Indiana to the late Irvin and Laura Lehman Canen. He was a retired Evangelist with Georgia District Church of the Nazarene. Rev.

Canen was a graduate of Olivet Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He held revivals in 79 different Nazarene Churches all across Georgia as well as many other churches across the U.S. Rev. Canen was a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grand Poppy.

He is preceded in death by his wife Anne Cooper Canen, son, Kenny Clements, and grandson, Christopher Canen. Survivors include his wife, Vera Foskey Canen of East Dublin, son, Bruce Canen of Panama City, FLA, Boice Canen of Texas, daughter, Christy Owens (David) of Dublin, son, Todd Canen of Kankakee, IL, daughter, Gail C. Evans (Jerry) of East Dublin, daughter, Janet Bryant (Johnnie) of East Dublin, daughter, Sue Merritt (Lamar) of East Dublin, brother, Paul Canen (Juanita) of Monroe, GA, sister, Mary Alice Medley of Kansas City, KA, brother, Sam Canen (Lisa), Modesto, CA, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grand children also survive. Services for Rev.

Canen will be held on Monday, June 4th in the Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene at 3:00PM. Rev. Paul Canen, Rev.

Myron Wise, Rev. Charles Guinn and Rev. Samille Jackson will officiate.

The Family will receive friends Sunday night from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Serving as Pall Bearers will be; Jacky Grubbs, David Wilkes, Richard Brantley, Clint Luecke, Joey Fuller and Rawleigh Furney. Honorary Pall Bearers will be; Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Challengers Sunday School Class and Senior Adults Sunday School Class.
