Obituary for David Wayne Long Jr David Wayne Long, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018. He is survived by his parents: David and Jean Long, Sr.; his two sisters: Honey Williams and Kelly (Jose) Gutierrez; nephews and niece: Donny Williams, Elias and Ofelia Gutierrez; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. David was a very generous and kind person, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

He was very family oriented, and loved his niece and nephews who meant everything to him. His laugh will always be remembered. David loved everyone and was a loyal man to all that knew him.

He will be missed by so many that knew him. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 22240 Burnham Avenue, Sauk Village, Illinois. The funeral will be held at the church on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a one-hour viewing prior to the service.

Burial will be at the Memory Lane Memorial Park cemetery, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, Indiana. There will be a meal served after the burial at the First Baptist Church of Sauk Village. Memory Lane Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
