Obituary for John Wesley Seber Sr John Wesley Seber, Sr., 75, of Vandalia, Michigan (formerly of Merrillville, Indiana) died on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was born on August 14, 1942 to Homer & Gladys Seber. John is survived by his children: Dean (Melissa) Seber, John (Theresa) Seber, Jr., and Martin Seber; his grandchildren: Courtney Armes, Cory Seber, Breanna Seber, Kyle Seber, and Joey Betzer; and his great grandchildren: Hollis Armes, Max Seber, and Zaedyn Seber.

He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Gallatis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Ruth Seber; his parents: Homer & Gladys Seber; and his siblings: Doug Seber and Clara Shaver. After graduating from Calumet High School, John began working at Inland Steel from which he later retired after 40+ years of employment.

John enjoyed his hobbies of fishing, woodworking, and attending classic car shows. His love to his family and friends will be dearly missed. A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Memory Lane Funeral Home, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, Indiana.
