Obituary for David Wayne Mills David Wayne Mills, 62, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born January 7, 1956, in Sumter, he was a son of the late James P. Mills and the late Alma Mildred Lackey Mills. He was employed by Mills Electric for 25 years.

Survivors include a brother, Ray Mills (Betty Jo) of Sumter; two sisters, Frances Sagerty of Mayesville and Faye Hill of Sumter; and two nephews, Steven Sagerty (Dovie) of Mayesville and Wayne Hill of Sumter. A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. Friday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Wanda Altman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, 205 West 700 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
