David Wayne Anderson, 56, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 in his home. He was the son of the late Wayne and Alice Cook Anderson. David was born in Bowling Green on February 19, 1962.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Louise Cook. David had a genuine love of life. He loved the Green Bay Packers and Kentucky Wildcats.

He was a dedicated CT Technologist at the Medical Center for over 30 years. The joy and focus of his life were his daughters, Kristen and Hannah. He loved traveling and spending time with his daughters.

His sense of humor brought a smile to everyone who knew him. David is survived by his daughters, Kristen Anderson (Jennifer Curtis), Hannah Anderson, and their mother, Kelli Williams, his mother in law, Donna Blankenship, his sister, Terri Mischel (Les Dooley), his uncle, Bruce Cook (Leigha), his nephew, Kyle Brooks (Rebecca), and his niece, Katie Baughman (Ross). Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday, September 10, from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made at the funeral home in support of Kristen and Hannah.
