Obituary for Dean Smith Dean Smith, 71, of Live Oak, CA, passed away June 3, 2018. He was born December 1, 1946, and he has been a life long resident of the Yuba-Sutter area. He was a member of the Gridley Moose Lodge and the NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Eileen, Janine, Steven, Deanna, Taryn, Damon and Paul; brother, Dale; sister, Edna; 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Betty; brothers, Jim, Tom and Ernie. Services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018, 1 pm, at the Gridley Moose Lodge.
