Obituary for Deborah Kyre Pearcy Deborah Kyre Hustead Pearcy 70, of Bridgeport, WV formerly of Gypsy, WV went to heaven on December 26, 2018 at her home. Born September 27, 1948 in Clarksburg,WV she was the oldest daughter of James Hustead and Betty Kyre Hustead. Debby excelled at many things in her life, as a small girl she performed ballet for many of her father’s insurance banquets.

After high school graduation from Shinnston she attended beautician school working in Clarksburg for many years. After marriage she had two beautiful children. During the time of raising her family she became involved with her son and daughters activities.

For 10 years she was and active dance mom with Romana Rose School of Dance. At the same time she served as her son’s asst. coach in soccer for the 1984 Under 8 Moose soccer team.

Never forgetting that funny time, when her kids were older, Deb went back to school this time pursuing a nursing degree. For over 15 years she worked at UTCC at United Hospital Center. During her nurses training she raised two kids, keeping house , studying at night, only after helping her kids first.

During summer vacations at Myrtle beach, she won the 2003 ski ball dean classic. Deb was also a great cook, best known for her hot dog chili. Debby was an avid dog lover, especially her Camelot dogs, her true blue Yorkie Joe and her Golden Retriever Max.

She wed Charles L. Pearcy III on September 7, 1974 who survives in Bridgeport. She is also survived by a son Charles L. Pearcy IV of Bridgeport and daughter Karaline Kyre Kemp and husband Guy Kemp of Stonewood. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Juliet Elizabeth Kemp of Stonewood, Marcel Adaveo Pearcy of Clarksburg, Louie Pearcy and Haeley Harris of Clarksburg.

Debby was preceded in death by her sister Jamie Hustead Newlon and her beloved mamaw Ruth Kyre and papa Lester Kyre. Her father James Hustead, her beloved Uncle Lester Vincent Kyre “Buddy”. Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018.

A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday, December 31, 2018 with Pastor Cindy Boggs officiating.
