Van (Dee) of Charlottesville, VA, born in Houston, Texas, February 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Donald D. Van and Zura Van Wilson of Crozet, VA, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Hospice House in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was also predeceased by her sister, Sharon Sue Van Maupin of Concord, VA. Dee is survived by a niece, Jessica N. Maupin of Lynchburg, VA and aunt, Anna S. Johnson, of Crozet, VA.

Dee was retired from the University of Virginia. Viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Hill and Wood Funeral Home. Dee requested memorials be made to the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA, P.O. Box 7047, Charlottesville, VA or animal shelter of your choice.
