Mary “Lovey” Mignone September 09, 1933 – February 02, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Mary “Lovey” Mignone, 85, of Charlottesville passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019. She was born on September 9, 1933 in New York City to the late John Walter and Margaret Risko Karpf. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John Mignone and by her brother, J. Walter Karpf.

She is survived by her siblings: Peggiann Nuccio and her husband, Bob, and Hank “Ray” Karpf; her niece and nephew, Claudia and Stephen, and by her two cats, now residing in New York, Lovie and George. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Caring for Creatures at 352 Sanctuary Lane, Palmyra, VA 22963.
