Peggy Dempster Gibson January 13, 1934 – March 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook THE VILLAGES, Florida – Peggy Dempster Gibson, 84, died Thursday, March 21, 2019. Peggy was born January 13, 1934 in Ivy, VA to Paul and Pauline Dempster. Peggy graduated from Lane High School and was a member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Ivy, VA.

She moved to The Villages with her husband, Verley Gibson Sr, from Nelson County, VA in 1997, shortly after retiring from banking. She was active in her church and many groups and organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her son and daughter‐in-law, Verley “Larry” Gibson Jr. and Janet of Mount Holly, NC; daughter, Kelly Sue Gibson of The Villages; her granddaughter, Ray Gibson of Mount Holly, NC; a sister-in-law, Nancy Gibson of Charlottesville, and many nieces and nephews; and many loving and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her in laws, Milton and Louise Haney of Charlottesville, Bill and Alma Gibson of Crozet, Hermann and Frances Loose of Keswick, and Luther Gibson. Condolences may be sent to the family at 1411 Espinoza Lane, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
