Bonnie Lee Laquintano March 24, 1939 – March 04, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries Bonnie Lee Laquintano, 79, of Charlottesville, Virginia died on Monday, March 4th, 2019 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born March 24, 1939 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer Turner and Muriel Juanita Deane Turner. She was also preceded in death by her brother James E. Turner, Jr

She graduated from Lane High School and began working at the University of Virginia Hospital and later Sperry Marine Systems as an Executive Secretary. She later graduated from The Columbus School of Medical Assistance achieving straight A’s in all her classes. During her marriage Bonnie was asked to move numerous times due to Tony’s position with Xerox Corporation.

When Tony decided to retire, he asked her where would she like to retire. Without hesitation she replied Charlottesville, Virginia. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tony L. Laquintano; sons Tony V. Laquintano, of Charlottesville, Nicholas P. Laquintano, of San Francisco and Scott Marsh of Clifton Forge; and a grandson Nicholas D. Laquintano.

Also surviving her are a brother, Jerry Turner of Tennessee and his wife Sue; her best friend and cousin Mrs. Nancy Mays; sister in law Carole Turner of Clifton Forge, sister in law Pat Disalvio of Philadelphia; and many nieces and nephews. Last but not least, Bonnie leaves behind many beloved pets. Special thanks to Dr. Ross Isaacs of Downtown Family Health, Dr. Haskell from UVA Radiology and Dot Cage, Johann Hsu, Pantops Comm ONC, and to all the people from Hospice of the Piedmont who kept Bonnie pain free and comfortable in her last days.

There are not enough THANK YOUS to adequately express our appreciation. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM at Holy Comforter Catholic Church, 208 E. Jefferson St, Charlottesville, VA 22902 (434-295-7185) on Thursday, March 21, 2019. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, PO Box 7047, Charlottesville, VA 22906, or to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
