Ms. Vojvodic came to the United States, first to Missouri in 1998 and then to Charlottesville in 2005. She was Serbian Orthodox.

Mara loved her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to crochet, knit and cook.

Ms. Vojvodic was the last of the Kerkez family. She is survived by her daughter Koviljka Vojvodic of Charlottesville and Bosiljka Vojvodic of Germany; her granddaughter Dijana Sikman and two great grandchildren, Boris and Lara Sikman. The family welcomes friends at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2019 at Hill & Wood Funeral Home, Charlottesville.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
