McCrobie, Sr., 72, of Lake Monticello, Palmyra, Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at his home. He was born on September 29, 1946, in Charlottesville, Virginia, the son of Albert N. and Mabel Ruth McCrobie. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Aundrea M. Montgomery and a nephew, Robert Gibson.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sharon McCrobie, two sons, Ronnie and Matthew and his wife, Amy and granddaughter, Hayden Sheffer. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Glory Mack and husband, Steve, sister-in-law Joyce Lewis and sister, Yvonne M. Norris and husband, Lewis. A memorial service will be held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Troy, Virginia at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st .

A reception will follow in the church social hall. Heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Piedmont.
