, she was the daughter, of the late Elbert Brown Jeffreys, mother and the late Sadie Bell Toombs (Jeffreys) Lowrance and stepfather, Wade Hampton Lowrance of Charlottesville. Louise leaves a cherished husband of 61 years, Ellis Frazier, Jr. of Charlottesville; son, Jeff and wife, Susan; twin daughters, Kim and Kaye, husband, Allen; six grandchildren Kenyth and fiancé Amanda, Keyth and wife Erica, Amber and fiancé Joslin, Faith, Candice and Charity and 11 Great-Grandchildren: Ayden, Remi, Kyelin, Chase, Baby Campbell due in November and Rylie, Todd Michael, Grant, Adrienne, Ava, Bridgette and Bruce. She leaves a sister-in-law , Nancy Gilbert; a brother-in-law, Johnny Frazier; a special first cousin Ray Mull and wife, Barbara of Chase City, Va.
; nieces Sherri, Lisa, Cary, Danna, Amanda, Cindy and many great nieces and nephews; her two cats, Rascal and Blossom and her last puzzle that our family will finish for her. Louise was a 1957 Lane High School graduate then started her working career at UVA Alumni Association from 1957-1961: was a stay at home seamstress for Mr. Hanks Original 1961-1975; devoted her time to Robert E. Lee Elementary School and Rock Hill Academy in Charlottesville, worked for MRN Motor Racing Network as a scoring technician 1975-1980; and then became a NASCAR Scorer for many racecar drivers including Tim Richmond and Harry Gant 1981-1996. Louise joined the Elks #389 Doe Auxiliary in 2007 to present, where she was Doe of the year and spent most of her time volunteering with the Farmers Market, bingo, crafting, decorating, giving so much time to the Elk and Doe Club, the only place she wanted to be.
She was a member of the University Baptist Church since 1954. Mom was a dedicated wife, stood by dad in everything and went everywhere with him. (well, I guess she had to since she didn’t drive).
She was a mother that treasured us children and embraced every moment with us. She will truly be missed, we are so blessed to have called her mom. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #389 located at 389 Elks Drive, Charlottesville, Va.
22901. A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Elks Lodge #389. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to East Rivanna Volunteer Fire Company or Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad.
