Delores Shaw Childersburg, AL – Funeral service for Delores Shaw, 94, will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Rodney Frost, Rev. Rick Rushton, Chaplain Greg Tankersley, and Rev.

Joel Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg, AL. Mrs. Shaw died Monday, October 15, 2018 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Goldie Monroe; daughter, Pam O’Neal; and daughter, Gay Tucker. She is survived by her loving husband of 76 1/2 years, Calvin Shaw of Childersburg; two daughters, Karen (Joel) Maxwell of Childersburg and Tina (John) Hughes of Rockford; three sons, Marvin (Joyce) Shaw of Jacksonville, Alvin (Janet) Shaw of Colorado Springs, CO, and Lamar (Myra) Shaw of Chelsea; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

The family will be accepting flower or contributions may be made to the Center Hill Mission Fund at Center Hill United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 34, Childersburg, AL 35044. Pallbearers will be Anzley Hughes, Patrick Shaw, Adam Maxwell, Nathan Maxwell, Jesse Tucker, Jonathan Tucker and Brent Cunningham. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff of Comfort Care Hospice of Talladega for their tender and compassionate care of our mother and grandmother.
