Dennis William Sims, age 51, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his home. Dennis worked for Toyota Motors in Princeton, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Dennis enjoyed hunting, mountain biking, and riding motorcycles.

He also made custom longbows. He was a graduate of F.J. Reitz High School. Surviving Dennis are his parents: Peggy and John Sims, a sister, DeAnne Finn; a brother, Daniel Sims; and nieces and nephews, Thomas Dennis, Matthew Sims, John Sims, Heather Finn and Samantha Sims.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday April 1, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street with Deacon Tom Goebel officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Pierre Funeral Home.
