Robert E. Adams, 76, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at his home. He was born September 30, 1942 to the late Dolathe and Iva (Day) Adams. Bob retired from UMWA Coal Mines after 32 years.

He served in the Indiana National Guard for 7 years. Bob enjoyed his vacations, movies and boating. He was dedicated to his family and loved his cats.

Bob is survived by his wife, Patricia S. of 54 years, son, Mark Adams; grandchildren, Marisa and Aubrey Adams; sisters, Betty Burris and Mary Beth Adams; brother, William Adams all of Loogootee, IN; and nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 12:00 –3:00 p.m. CDT on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave.
