Obituary for Diane Larkin Diane Larkin, 56 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at her home in Old Bridge. Born Sunday, January 28, 1962 in Oswego, New York, Diane was the daughter of the late William and Valentine Bitting. Diane grew up in Erie, PA, and would move to New York City before settling in Old Bridge 17 years ago.

While growing up in Erie, Diane was a very active member of the Erie Playhouse and upon graduation from High School, was accepted into the NYC Academy of Dramatic Arts. Diane worked as a Para professional aide in different schools in Old Bridge Township. Diane was an avid runner and incredibly completed 7 NYC Marathons.

She enjoyed exercising, and helping others obtain a healthy lifestyle. So much so that Diane became a personal trainer working in different gyms throughout Old Bridge. Before all, Diane was a loving mother, she often commented that her children were ‘her world’.

She will be missed by all those that were blessed to have had her in their lives. Diane is survived by her former husband of 20 years, James J. Larkin Jr., by her beloved children, Catherine Larkin, and Kevin Larkin, and by her caring siblings, Robert Bitting and his wife Dianne, Karen Sova and her husband Don, and Laurie Bitting, and by her loving nephews and niece, Brett, Eric, Mike and Sarah, and great nephews Holden, William and Sadler. A Memorial Service is scheduled for noon Saturday July 28, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church located at 883 NJ-34 Matawan, NJ 07747.
