Dolores M. Mucha 89, passed on October 6, 2018. Dolores was the daughter of the late Rudolph Christian Eikhof and Alma (Hammer). She was born in West New York, New Jersey on January 3, 1929.

When Dolores was a teenager, the family moved to Sloatsburg, NY. Dolores was the widow of Patrick Giannico who passed in 1973. Dolores was fortunate in that she found happiness a second time with the late Stefan Mucha.

Dolores was also predeceased by her two brothers Robert and R. Thomas Eikhof. Dolores leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews: Dawn (Jason) Iorio, Laura (Stephan) Dolan, Judith Giannico, Thomas (Barbara) Eikhof, Kathleen (Francis) Phillips, Jozef (Elizabeth) Getlik, Gabriel (Ann) Karpinecz and great nephew Edward Dolan. Dolores was dedicated to the staff and students of the Connor School in Suffern, NY where she managed the front office for many years.

Prior to her secretarial work, she was employed by American Airlines where she developed her passion for traveling. Dolores often spoke of her trips to Spain and Slovakia as some of the best times in her life. The family would like to thank the loving staff at the Willows at Ramapo Manor for their loving care.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a service being conducted at 7:30 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ.
