Obituary for Don Spice Don Spice, 93, of Rochester and formerly of Silver Lake area passed at 1:13 pm, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on May 13, 1925 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Sidney and Hester (Ulrey) Spice.

He married on April 19, 1947 in Akron, Indiana by Rev. Slaybaugh to Lorene Rhodes, who preceded on March 19, 2018. He was a dairy farmer.

He started milking cows in his Junior year of high school and he and his wife retired in the late 80’s. Don attended the Akron Church of God. He enjoyed doing carpenter work and had built many houses.

He also enjoyed woodworking with his wife by his side. He was known to always keep an immaculate yard and well maintained cars. Survivors and place of residence: Daughter – Susan and husband Rick Green – Warsaw, Ind.

Son – Dennis and wife Linda Spice – Champaign, Ill.
