Donald J. Redlich, 88, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Sunday, November 30, 1930 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jessie Redlich. He was married 65 years to Barbara (Brooks) Redlich.

A 1949 graduate of Mercersburg Academy, Donald then earned a degree in civil engineering from Cornell University, class of 1953. He served as a 1stLieutenant in the US Army Corps of Engineers from 1953-1955, serving during the Korean War. He was employed by Penn DOT from 1957-85.

Coroneted a 33rdDegree Mason in 1979, Donald was a Past Master of Lowther Manor Lodge #781, F & AM, Camp Hill, Past Commandeer-in-Chief of Harrisburg Consistory, Perseverance Royal Arch Chapter #21, Harrisburg Council #7 Royal and Select Master Masons, Pilgrim Commandery #11 Knights Templar, Past Intendant General for Pennsylvania Trinity Conclave Knights of the Red Cross of Constantine, Past Warrant Sovereign Master Constans Council #239 Allied Masonic Degrees, Past Chief Adept of Pennsylvania College Masonic Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis, Grand College of Rites, Harrisburg Chapter #76 National Sojourners, Pennsylvania York Rite College #11, and Central PA Rock and Mineral Club. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by a daughter Donna Shultz and husband Brent of Harrisburg; a son Eric Redlich of Middletown, two grandchildren: Kera Daily of Hummelstown and Travis Gault of Carlisle, and two great-grandchildren: Gwen Daily and Kylie Gault. He was predeceased by a sister Patricia Doohan.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at John Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service. A Masonic service will be conducted by the Lowther Manor Lodge #781, F&AM, Camp Hill prior to the memorial service.

Interment with military honors will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville on Tuesday at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald’s memory may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America at www. pva.org.
