Donald’s Obituary STEELEVILLE – Donald L. “Donnie” Heuer, 57, of Steeleville passed away at 2:13 PM, Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Barnes – Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Donald was born on December 13, 1961, in Sparta, the son of Ralph E. and Geraldine W. (Rubach) Heuer. He was a retired tow motor operator for Gilster Mary Lee Corp.

Donnie married Jamie E. Guethle on July 5, 2016 in Chester, and he was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Wine Hill, and the Steeleville Eagles. Donnie is survived by his wife; Jamie E. Heuer, of Steeleville, children; Nathan Heuer, of Sparta, and Natilie (Chad) Eubanks, of Pinckneyville, brother; Kevin Heuer, of Coulterville, sister; Nancy Heuer, of Steeleville, aunts and uncles; Mary Lou and Richard Eaton, of Steeleville, and Carolyn Brockmeyer, of Steeleville. He is also survived by cousins; Bruce and Patti Eaton, of Steeleville, Karen Wilson, of Belleville, Cheryl Brockmeyer, of Garden City, South Carolina, Lori Brockmeyer, of Okawville, nephews; Lance and Cody Heuer, nieces; Stephanie and Morgan Heuer, and his best dog companion; Heidi.

Mr. Heuer was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Wilson’s Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Kelly Bedard officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening at the funeral home where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Thursday morning from 7:30 AM until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund.
