OBITUARY Donald W. Hood October 15, 1943 – January 14, 2019 Donald W. “Rusty” Hood, 75, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019. Don retired after 33 years of over the road truck driving. He was a member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge and an avid outdoors man.

Don had a true love of the land. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Retha Hood and siblings Patricia Hood-Harmon and Hubert Hood. Don leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years Florence Hood, daughters Tina Cline (John) and Tanya Hood, twin granddaughters Alexandra and Catherine Cline, son-in-law Shawn Miles, siblings Billie Mackey (Arvalee), Janice Smith (Paul), Barbara Cook (Milford), Wanda Bowman (Jim) and Michael Hood (Bambi) and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests for visitation Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12pm-4pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road. There will be a private prayer service to follow.
