Obituary for Donis Ross Donis A. Ross – Obituary Donis A, Ross, age 88 originally from Lake City, and a longtime resident of Marco Island, Florida, passed away peacefully at The Bluffs Assisted Living Facility in Lake City, on Tuesday, November 13th. She was born February 22, 1930 and was the Daughter of the late Marce and Florence Walters and attended Lincoln High School. She was a career educator, with a Master’s degree in Home Economics from the University of MN.

She taught in Jolliet, IL for many years, and later in Houston, TX. She was twice married, lived abroad in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and in Nigeria, and was a world traveler in the summer months and in her retirement years. She was an avid reader and member of the Republican Party.

She is survived by her sister, Marcene (Allen) Anderson, of Frontenac and Marco Island, her three nephews Jeffrey Wiebusch, Mt. Horeb, WI. , James Wiebusch, Lake City, and Thomas Wiebush, Fairborn, OH.

and numerous cousins, grandnieces and nephews. A service will be held at a later date. Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City is in charge of arrangements.
