Donna Glenn (Wells) Smith, age 82, of Evansville, IN passed away at 4:28 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital. Donna was born January 6, 1937, in Olney, IL to Hobart Wayne Wells and Marguerite Gertrude (Dittman) Gleason. She graduated from Lakeview High School in Chicago in 1955 and was a longtime member of Garvinwood General Baptist Church.

Donna owned and operated The Diet Shop Health Food Store in Evansville for 22 years. She really loved the interaction with her customers. Donna loved traveling to Brown County with Jim, and she enjoyed reading, drawing, singing, and music.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Glenn (Linda) of Huntsville, AL; daughters, Kim VanVorst (John), of Evansville, IN and Kristi Williams (Harry), of Newburgh, IN; sister, Pat Larson, Chicago, IL and Reta Howell of Easton, PA; brother, V. Michael Wells of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Nicole Glenn, Brandon Glenn, John VanVorst (Sarah), Jeff VanVorst (Kendrea), J.E. Michael (Kelly), Annissa Michael–Hunter, DDS (Tyler), Heather Michael, Lindsay Michael, Eric Michael, and Meg Williams; and great granddaughter, Gwendolyn Jean Michael. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 21 years, James Herbert Smith, who passed away January 1, 2018; sister, Norma Jean Wells; and brother, Larry Wayne Wells. Funeral Services and Burial will be Private for the Family.
