Kerrie Douglas, age 39, of Evansville, IN passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at home. Kerrie was born August 4, 1979, in Evansville, IN, to Randall and Brenda (Knotts) Douglas. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1997.

Kerrie was employed as a supervisor with Merry Maids for over 10 years. She loved family gatherings, riding her motorcycle, playing basketball, and playing fast pitch softball as a pitcher where she was a three time state champion. Kerrie is survived by her parents; daughter, Chelsee Morrison of Evansville, IN; son, Damian Douglas (Tyler) of Boonville, IN; brothers, Patrick Douglas (Kristy) of Evansville, IN and Brett Douglas (Heather) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Annabelle Douglas and Sage Blake; grandmother, Mary Douglas; her loving dog, Khloe; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and long time companion, Antoin Horne.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Knotts and grandfather, Norman Douglas. A special thank you to the staff of Heritage Hospice for their special care and compassion. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Brett Nicholson officiating.

Burial will be private. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
