Duard “Tom” Severse, 81, of Evansville passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Tom was born November 29, 1937 in Evansville, IN the last of 7 sisters and 4 brothers to the late William and Mary Ida (Breeze) Severse. Tom, was in the US Marine Reserve for 6 years.

This is something he was very proud of. Tom came home and worked for Sunbeam Bakery for 13 years and Bunny Bread Bakery for 24 years. He retired in 1995.

Tom loved camping, fishing and taking the grandchildren to the park, grilling, watching baseball, being outdoors, long car rides and most importantly just being with family. Tom had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone he will be greatly missed by so many. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda Severse; sons, Christopher (Renee) Severse and Gregory (Deana) Severse; daughter, Tina (Jacob) Cave; grandchildren, Christopher (Bones) (Mandy) Severse II, Mitchell Gray, Kayla (Anthony) O`Neal, Anastajia (William) Eastwood, Alexandria Severse, Gregory Severse II, Krystal (Liam) Melvin, Nichole ( Logan) Day; great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa McCraw; granddaughter, Shelley Severse; and 11 siblings. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave. , Evansville, IN.

Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with David Mills officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be made online at www.
